I wonder what would Atheists think or how would they feel if we had definitive proof that God exists?
I guess I could also ask the opposite question from us who believe in God.
What do you think?

If you gave me definitive proof that God exists it would not trouble my thinking or the way I lead my life.
I live my life as good and as just as I can, having knowledge of an omnipotent force would not make me a better person than I am right now.
Nice, I'm in agreement with you on this one.
Good answer paw42uk. For me, it would depend on what kind of god was proven to exist. If it was the judeo-christian god, I would be seriously worried. I mean, I read the bible and he's kind of like a hormonal teenage girl with bipolar and a really big gun. I would have a lot of questions for a god like that, who was involved in so many crazy and immoral (according to my personally defined morality of course) stories. However, if it were a different god (maybe one of the greek hotties) that were proven to exist, I might be more interested
What makes you say that?
I can't 100% say I believe God exists or not. So if there was concrete evidence that S/He/It existed or didn't exist and I believed in that evidence, then I think I'd be relieved. I can then close the book on years of questioning and wondering.
If there were empirical evidence of a god or gods existence then there would be no belief on my part, there would only be acceptance of fact.
Then one is doomed if he or she died without believing in God. Because he actually exist.
prove it that he actually existed, as well as prove that this god is of the one that you believe in, because if you can't then you're just preaching and using fear to get people to convert.
If the christian god exists, I guess he will be merciful enough to forgive the unbelievers because according to Jesus he was loving and merciful. Once a person repent and believe he will be forgiven. I think god will only require belief and acknowledgement from the atheists so they will be embraced by his eternal love.
Hypothetically, if you could definitively prove the existence of god I would be completely willing to believe in him (believe as opposed to have faith in, which is without evidence). I adjust my views according to new evidence, and so on seeing evidence for god I would then believe in one. However, there isn't any.
If some man, woman, alien, or amorphous being came down from on high and said s/he was God, I would ask to see proof. If s/he made some incredible acts happen, I would just figure that s/he's from an advanced race, had read our books and saw that there was an open position for a God like figure, and was trying to take advantage of the situation :)
I may be wrong, but it's much more probable than the actual creator of all that is troubling himself with making an appearance before our primitive race.
"I may be wrong, but it's much more probable than the actual creator of all that is troubling himself with making an appearance before our primitive race."
I have to agree with you here! What would he or she gain from this? If he or she did I guess there would be good reason to expect we would be finding out why we were created in the first place and that may not be something we really want to know.
Does anybody recall the story game played in school as a child where one whispers a story into the ear of another and passes it on and when it get back to you its completely different, I think if there was definitive proof of a God there would be no religion on earth after manipulation greed, power and time put any shred of evidence through the blender since the last time definitive proof of this god was observed that this god would bear any resemblance to what any present day religions feel he or she is. I am sure this proof would be very valuable to many people who would use it for furthering their own agendas. I wonder if this God would be happy with how his being had been used to propagate war, fear and sins against humanity by many of these religions since the proof was last observed.
There are people who say "The evidence is all around us as God is the creator of all things great and small!", if they are right I guess I would not feel any different than I do now as I have been surrounded by this proof all my life and feel exactly the way I do about it now.
I'm with PAW42 on this one, it wouldn't change things for me much. I might have some serious questions given the chance.
