Well, if you're asking for evidence of something, and don't believe it exists, doesn't that defeat the purpose of asking for evidence?
Not in the least. My purpose for asking for evidence is to show that the lack of evidence for FSM and the lack of evidence for your god are identical.
This is all getting out of hand, no one is going to budge here, so why don't we all just respect a difference of opinion and leave it at that?

To you, perhaps, but so far, the evidence you have presented for your god's existence is the historical existence of Jesus. I have no problem believing that a teacher we call Jesus existed and was executed by the Romans. What you have not established, to my satisfaction anyway, is how that existence would constitute evidence of the existence of any god, the existence of the supernatural, or the nonexistence of other beings. Please make that case.
In another thread, you have presented a case that the universe requires a cause. Even if I accept that (which I don't necessarily), it's a huge logical leap to go from the universe requires a cause to therefore *your* god exists.

Ok, my patience is gone Shock of God. I have attempted to be decent with you, but you just keep crapping on peoples' ideas and completely ruin the debate by your unwillingness to even acknowledge the possibility that you might be wrong or even the intellectual value of other peoples' positions. None of us really know if there is a god or not, so stop acting as though you know what the best beliefs and theories are because your theories are no more likely to be correct than anyone else's.
I acknowledge that I might be wrong, but the probability of atheism being wrong is just a *tad* higher than the probability of my belief being wrong, as I have shown.
I'm not crapping on people's ideas. You guys need to stop blaming me for having unsound arguments that can be easily refuted. If I can refute an argument and show why it is wrong, then I will do so. That doesn't make me narrow-minded, rude, mean, crude, stupid, illogical, or anything of the sort. That makes me a good debater, which I seem to be since you all are getting mad at me for constantly vitiating your claims.
Atheism may be true, but there is good evidence to suggest that it is not.
Why are your claims so much better? Because you believe them? You cannot refute any claims with opinions, and while you may decided to post links to your information, ours isn't exactly without a source. And you know what? You Are Not Welcome Here because of rudeness, not for your ideas. You don't have to accept the opinions of others, but you shouldn't feel the need to disprove them. No one is going to stop being atheist because of you. In fact, you ruin the reputations of other religious people. You and other people like you are the reason why half the people hear can't stand theists.
But, I'm not being rude. Rude -- "discourteous or impolite, especially in a deliberate way." I have not been discourteous or impolite, especially in a deliberate way. You may *think* I have, but I have made no negative or offensive remarks toward a single user of this website. Yet I've been ridiculed and persecuted multiple times and have been falsely accused of being rude.
Secondly, the information I provide to negate atheistic claims are not opinions, they are pieces of information from science and history. May I ask you what the purpose of a debate is? It is for two people representing two different views to discuss a topic, and refute the other's claims.
Once again, I am not trying to make you stop being an atheist, if I wanted to do that, I would have made that blatantly obvious. My posts are made in the debate room, meaning they are up for debate, as are yours.
Also, I do accept the opinions of others. I am not showing that atheism is wrong, I am showing the some of the evidence that atheism is based off of is wrong.
It's not my fault if you can't stand a theist, It's not my job to make you like me. My job is to represent a Christian viewpoint on this website to help atheists better understand the world for a theistic viewpoint. I am also here to show why *some* atheistic thinking is wrong or logically invalid. You don't have to accept that it is, but if I can show that it is wrong, then it must be wrong, otherwise one would not be able to vitiate the claim.
Once again, don't get mad at me because I'm a good debater and know how to successfully refute claims.
Also, my claims are not necessarily better, but they are more sound than *some* of the atheistic arguments because they have not been refuted, yet I've been able to refute many atheistic claims. This is the point of a debate, to show why the opposing view is invalid and to use evidence to support your claims. If I am not allowed to debate in a debate room, then there should not be one on this website.
And your goal is not being reached. Name on atheist on here who has actually maintained any respect for you. Without respect, no one will listen to you, logical or illogical. But you are literally an inch away from being shunned.

I have established that I'm not being rude; I have not once insulted a user or even so much as cursed on this website. I have been very formal in my debates.
I have established that I am not trying to convert anybody; I don't like people who try to convert. I am also not trying to impose my beliefs on anybody, apologies if it seems like I did.

Any more discussion on this particular topic will draw unnecessary and unwanted drama to this website. I encourage everybody to drop the subject and continue on their way, discussing it further will only enrage users even more, and that would not be a good thing.

The thing is, I never argued that atheism was illogical or that the atheist is irrational. What I argued was that the evidence that atheism rests upon is unsound and refutable.
You have stated that your entire mission is to prove atheism is illogical.

Their ignorance causes me physical pain. My brain cannot accept that I am of the same species as the beings that said that, so the turmoil gives me a massive headache. The worst was the lady that believed in god but not the existence of apes. Which you can see in a zoo.
I think so far you guys might have been providing SoG with affirmation. Part of christian faith is seen to be tests of faith, persevering in the face of adversity. He/She might have been subconsciously fishing for this. heh, if so, that would sort of make Shock a fisher of men :-P
The whole testing of faith thing is a way of keeping people from tolerating any talk that deviates from the beliefs of the religion.
