I have some friends who I consider to have two faced personalities. This means that they do certain things and act like they matter to them very much but they also do other things that are very contradictive. For example someone who says they love nature and want to protect it but they buy and consume products that are destroying nature.
I can't stand people like that. If you're going to complain about what others do wrong at least have the decency of giving a good example.

Such things are difficult. Seneca was unable to follow his own teachings, and said that he is talking about how it is necessary to live and not about how he actually lives.
I think this is true. Most people contradict what they preach at times. There are those who truly believe what they preach adn stick by it, but most people are too weak and small minded to really do it.
If you don't like them, then don't consider them as friends. I don't make friends with hypocrite people and people who are not sure with themselves whether they are religious, agnostic or atheist.
I think almost everyone fall into this description, cause we all are humans with flaws and perfection is beyond our limits...
people that claim to be better than everyone else and criticize they are just self rightous
The correct term for this is hypocrisy. I personally can't stand it either.
