Lmale yes islam is a religion of peace. The religion does not say do crimes. Just because muslims do crimes, doesn't make lslam a criminal religion. The muslims who are true muslims and really obey everything that is IN the religion, those are the people who goes the righteous way and that is the religion. As far as I know woman were beaten by their husbands if they didn't obey in traditional Muslim countries.
This was so part of their culture that it was ok for Muhammed to put it in the Quran when he was writing the book.

"Husbands should take full care of their wives, with [the bounties] God has given to some more than others and with what they spend out of their own money. Righteous wives are devout and guard what God would have them guard in the husbands’ absence. If you fear high-handedness from your wives, remind them [of the teaching of God], then ignore them when you go to bed, then hit them. If they obey you, you have no right to act against them. Beating their wifes was a common practice at the time of mohammed, woman in those times were treated like kettle, traded for political reasons.

Interesting video, there were many people in the Middle East and Africa which had access to libraries and science long before the Quran was written. Its entirely possible people had ways of looking at microscopic things before it was written and inspiration for the text could have come from such knowledge before the Quran was written. Sorry but your video proves nothing but the Quran can be interpreted to be pretty accurate about some things.
I could write a book written from aGods point of veiw filled with BS and go down to the lab get some unknown and currently unuseful to common science research that can't be found anywhere else, slip in there and then centries later have people going around saying must have been the word of God because clearly how else would the authors have known. Egyptian text for example have things in them that can interpreted as impossible they could have known without modern science.
Both the Egyptians and the Aztecs used cutting techniques that modern science can not match and account for. Are you saying clearly these people were led by their gods who must be real because they knew how to do things we still don't know how to do today.

Quran is words by God, not written by humans infact no human can even write a book like quran cuz in quran is written everything, in the past present and future and a human doesn't know what is going to happen in the future, Allah knows. There were things written in quran when it came to earth, things that didn't had happen when it came down but did happen later on, exactly what is written. Even today those things are happening that is written in the quran. It is written that many people is gonna disobey Allah and that is what is happening. Gregs point i think is that islam suppresses knowledge thats why despite there being more muslims than any other religion they dont have the expected number of nobel prizes.

Firstly: I've studied my book. I've read it in arabic and english, i can speak a few words in arabic. I know everything that is written in the quran...I've also studied the bible and there i find stupid verses. Every little verse i find in the quran is real n unchanged! It regards the so called "night journey" , I know you call it the Isra and Miraj . Now I expect you think I want to ridicule the concept of the Buraq ... but that's not part of my question.
No .... my question concerns the destination and purpose of the journey. Some seem to say its was to Jerusalem ,to the temple ... or to the temple site ...others to the farthest mosque (wherever that may be)... for prayer.
The Quran itself is very cursory on this point to the point of mentioning it almost as an aside ,and of course the Hadiths vary and are somewhat less than reliable.
Any way please don't take this as an invitation to "evangelise".
