There are still historians who support the existence of Jesus maybe because they have found some proofs that that Jesus actually existed. Since that’s the case, it will be harder to prove that Jesus is simply a myth since there are quite few evidences about him.

mardze, i have never seen some brainwashing himself like you do.
First wrong conclusion.
"There are still historians who support the existence of Jesus"
Does not mean it is you personal Jesus but theirs, it could only mean a normal man names Jesus.
Second wrong conclusion.
"maybe because they have found some proofs that that Jesus actually existed."
Emphasis on the MAYBE, so you don't know?
Third wrong conclusion:
"Since that’s the case"
Now you know that there is evidence?
In the previous sentence you said that you do not know.
Forth wrong conclusion:
"it will be harder to prove that Jesus is simply a myth"
Which jesus are you refering too, your personal Jesus or the historians physical normal human being?
Fifth wrong conclusion:
since there are quite few evidences about him."
There is mentioning of him by some unreliable historians(all working for the Flavians)
That is not enough evidence of a physical Jesus since most claim that Flavius Vespasian was the messiah and not Jesus.
(thus they are unreliable)
Even worst, that is surly no evidence of your own personal Jesus, which you claim you can talk to.
Those few evidences may not be enough to prove that Jesus really existed. History and Christianity may be related but they don't fully support each others strongly.
Who exactly are you trying to convince ?
It sounds to me that you don't believe but are trying desperately to convince yourself.
ChildofGod said:
“Like me and my family we try to prove His existence because no one else will, we prove He is alive because someone has to. We take the challenge and we succeed sometimes.”
Please provide us with the evidence you claim proved your god’s existence.
God Himself works in ways unimaginabl, He allows us to decide for ourselves the path we decide to take, thats why he doesnt interfere with anything. In 2 Timothy 3:16 it says "all scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right." thats why He lets things in this world happen the way it does. Yes we may not be able to see God but in 1 John 4:12 "no one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full"
Your proved nothing.
Bible references and cyclical faith arguments provide zero verifiable evidence.
Unsupported assertions , baseless opinions and NO EVIDENCE ....
You posted ,"we prove He is alive because someone has to." ....
OK.... put up or shut up
Show your proof ....
It provides every evidence. ok explain to me in detail how the Bible itself knew about ISIS and how it knew about Israel and Gaza and things happening out there and whats going to happen here
<---------------------------------FACEPALM!
CoG
Lots of attitude .....
several vague claims ...
but NO ACTUAL EVIDENCE then ?
Funny, I don't remember reading about ISIS in the bible. Oh wait, I'm bet you're talking about some vague prophecy that you are retroactively applying to the modern situation...
All the evidence you will ever need is in the Bible. Atheists "...have no excuse for not knowing God." -Romans 1:20
so why do you deny that He is still alive and He Himself is real
When that was written atheist had a different meaning to today, it ment without the state religion it was actually a capital crime thus punishable by death and was the crime the romans charged the christians with. Ironic.
CoG ..
Ok ... lets do the dance ..... AGAIN..
The only source for the “Christian” God and Jesus is the Bible.
The Bible is provably false.
It is lies, misdirection’s & falsehoods from start to finish.
It is a man made fabrication ,conjured up from nothing ....
and if you hold it up to the light ...the nothing shows through...
Now you ,of course will dispute this ... and I will ask you to put forward
your best scriptural proof of Biblical accuracy / prophecy etc.
Whatever you feel to be incontrovertible evidence for your book.
Entirely your choice ,of course ,
But please if you go this route .. post your source ,chapter and verse .
So if you are ready....
"Lay on MacDuff , And cursed be he who first cries "Hold ,enough".
ok then, what is it exactly you want to know the evidence to? i dare you to try to find something that "science" has that the Bible does not
"ok then, what is it exactly you want to know the evidence to? i dare you to try to find something that "science" has that the Bible does not"
You should have double dog dared him. But seriously please use the bible to calculate the solutions to this freshman physics, first day, first problem from Yale's website:
"From the top of a building of height h = 100m I throw a stone up with velocity 10m/s. What is the maximum height it reaches and when is that? How many seconds does it spend on its way down between h = 50m and h = 0m? What is its velocity when h = 50m? If when it is airborne I quickly dig a hole 50 m deep, when and with what speed will it hit the bottom?"
Make sure you cite the bible passages you used, and show your work. Meanwhile I will use F=ma to solve it. Let's see who does better.
No ,no,no ...
It doesn't work like that....
If you will do me the courtesy of actually reading what I posted ....
"I will ask you to put forward
your best scriptural proof of Biblical accuracy / prophecy etc."
You see ...
I KNOW the Bible to be false ...
You ,as is your right, assert it to be true ...
I want to understand what makes you think this...
That is all.... nothing at all to do with science.
watchman, you are wasting your time, he does not want to debate but claim things without supporting them.
Read these then
(Hebrews 11:6)
(John 20:29)
(Psalm 19:1-4)
(Ecclesiastes 3:11)
(Psalm 14:1)
(Romans 1:25)
(Romans 1:20)
(Romans 3:23, 6:23)
(Hebrews 11:6)
CoG
OK .... so these were your choice...
I have to say a somewhat pedestrian ,not to say immature collection ...
Of all the possible verses you could have chosen ... you went with this collection of feeble pleadings and impotent threats for unthinking ,unquestioning obedience.
Blind faith is what is being demanded here.
You've chosen verses attributed to Saul/Paul .. the enforcer (& possible inventor) of the early church and supposed prolific letter writer.
HEBREWS ..is directed at those early christians originally of the the Jewish faith who were beginning to slide back to their old faith.
ROMANS .. is directed at the more numerous "gentile" converts who may be thinking that christianity is not all it was cracked up to be.
The gospel of John is always a puzzling choice ... extremely unreliable in its entirety ,mainly for its omissions ...
Apart from its anti-semitic overtones it seems to be a pitch aimed at dissuading believers from taking the Gnostic route to heaven.
ECCLESIASTES fairly standard ,basic ..."look at how good god did" bit.
PSALM ...usual "only fools disbelieve" cobblers.
I have to admit to being a little curious as to what outcome you were looking for from such a poor selection?.
You present as a 16 year old girl ... but even your youth does not excuse your selection.
You were presented with the opportunity of addressing an atheist community ...
look at the numbers of people who are viewing this thread.
Some of them will be believers just waiting for you to give me a "good kicking" ... others will be atheists waiting for me to do the same to you.
But somewhere in those observers there may be someone ,on the edge ... looking for a pointer ,a direction to go...
and this is what you come up with ????
my age has nothing to do with anything, its my belief in God. If you're so strong on the Atheist community give me "evidence" or anything that has something to do with "science" that the Bible doesnt have the answer to or for.
OK ....
Evidence then.... (science seems to be your obsession... not mine)
What is your view on Matthew 2.23...?
"And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene."
Over to you....
its not an obsession, i just wonder what evidence atheists use with science that "proves that God does not exist" and that is also not in the bible. and as far as Matthew 2:23 my view is that in order to have a full understanding on that you need to read from verse 19, with that being said i say that his choice was already made known by the prophesies so...
CoG ..
" i say that his choice was already made known by the prophesies so..."
"by the prophesies" ???
What prophesies ?.... where can I find these prophesies?? .... it says ,"He shall be called a Nazarene". but what is the exact wording in these prophesies ??? .... it also says prophesies ,plural ...there are more than one ????
Over to you ...
matthew 2:13 "Get up! Flee to Egypt witht eh child and his mother" "Stay there until i tell you to return, because Herod is going to search for the child to kioll him."
and with your cerse, which i add on from it, Matthew 2:19-23
"When Herod died, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt."Get up!" the angel said. "Take the child and his mother back to the land of Israel, because those who were trying to kill the child are dead." So Joseph got up and returned to the land of Israel with Jesus and his mother. But when he learned that the new ruler of Judea was Herod's son Archelaus, he was afraid to go there. Then, after being warned in a dream, he left for the region of Galilee. So the family went and lived in a town called Nazareth. This fulfilled what the prophets had said: "He will be called a Nazarene." "
No no ... you misunderstand....
Matthew is writing about what "prophets had said".
What I want to know is which prophet/s and where are these prophecies recorded. That's all.
the prophet Jeremiah. Matthew 2:17 and an angel of the Lord Matthew 1:20
