This little fish comes swimming up to the other fish and he says, "I have found the most wonderful thing!"
The other fish say,"Oh what is it?"
"I realized our Father is The Ocean. The Ocean is God. It is the Ocean that cares for us, feeds us, protects us, loves us."
"Where is this Ocean?" they asked.
"The Ocean is everywhere it is all around us even we are part of the Ocean."
Then the fish ask, "But where is your proof of this 'Ocean' that you claim is our God?"
The little fish says, "no you don't understand we are all in the Ocean it is our existence. Without the Ocean none of us would exist!"
The other fish start to murmur, "this little fish is nuts, i don't see any Ocean all i see is water.",
"yeah me too, he must be crazy he thinks there is some God here." "you better shut up little fish your stupid.
if you keep talking like that we are going to nail you to some coral."
The little fish says, "Guys... what I am explaining is easy to understand and in it is the keys to a wise and happy life.
When we all see the Father we will all live as one and be loving towards each other as our Father is to us."
they then say,"As he is to us?! Look at Charlie! he lost his whole family to the tuna company! And Sally only has one fin now! How does your God love us?"
The little fish says,"You misunderstand, our Father grants us all life equally, we still have to fend for ourselves."
"That's enough out of you.", the other fish say.
"If we still have to take care of ourselves then what is the point?"
The little fish says,"But the Ocean is God do you not understand? He is everywhere. He is everything. Even I and the Father are One.
Even You are all One with the Father. By worshipping the Ocean we are loving our creator."
"That's it, Blasphemy!", they cry.
"You claim to be God. You say that we are God. You say The Ocean is God yet where is your proof of this Ocean?
All we in the 'real world' see... is water and coral and fish...."
"but... don't you get it? we are all alive because of The Ocean! It is wrong to not recognize the gift of life it has given us.
If we love and respect It It will love and respect us. we all can have..."
While he was speaking they took the little fish and nailed him to some coral until he died.
He was not resurrected.
The End.

get it? He is EVERYWHERE because He is EVERYTHING.
Sonny ...
"He is EVERYWHERE because He is EVERYTHING." ...
and does "He" have a name ???
That story is really funny. It does makes sense. We should recognize the reality and stop living in a world where we have to create a god in order to feel whole.
i felt the story is flawed on many levels, I see no sens in it, a fish has been given properties from a human apologetic and then in the end the OP asks to replace the fish with a human apologetic again.
This is a circular argument of ignorance lol.
The original argument is akin to pantheism. Even if we assume pantheism, that would have no relation to the scriptures you quote in your second post. Going from "the universe is god" to "god inspired verses in the Bible" is a complete logical leap. The two are not related in the least
exactly, but even more basic:
"I realized our Father is The Ocean. The Ocean is God. It is the Ocean that cares for us, feeds us, protects us, loves us."
This is not the idea of a "the universe is god", this is an idea of a theistic god.
so first he insert an analogy that the fish is sprouting nonsense and then he applies it to "the universe is god" apologetic.
"the Ocean that cares for us, feeds us, protects us, loves us"
The Ocean does not care for any fish, it does not feed the fish, it does not protect the fish and it does not love the fish.
The ocean just is.
The fish use it for protection and food.
The ocean has no mind like a father, same does "the universe is god" hypothesis.
The theistic god has nothing to do with that claim.
This little fish comes swimming up to the other fish and he says, "I have found the most wonderful thing!"
The other fish say,"Oh what is it?"
"I realized our Father is The Ocean. The Ocean is God. It is the Ocean that cares for us, feeds us, protects us, loves us."
"But", they protested, "The Ocean is an inanimate object. You can't just claim that a large quantity of water loves us. How did you come to that conclution? Are you really so insecure that you need to make up a new imaginary friend?"
The little fish just ignored answering all the sensible questions that the other fish were asking and continued, "no you don't understand we are all in the Ocean, it is our existence. Without the Ocean none of us would exist!"
One fish answered saying, "Of course we wouldn't exist without it, it is where our food is and we need it to breathe."
The little fish says, "Guys... what I am explaining is easy to understand and in it is the keys to a wise and happy life. When we all see the Father, we will all live as one and be loving towards each other as our Father is to us."
Another fish said, "When we all see the Father? If you mean the Ocean and the water it consists of, we see it every day. Look up there, that is the surface, down there is the bottom, over there you have a shoreline. Over there you can see a current carrying off some debree. That which has a greater density than the water sinks downwards like the rocks on the bottom, that which has a lower density floats upwards towards the surface. If we fill a plastic bag with water, then try to push on the sides, you can feel the water pushing back."
A barracuda said, "Yeah, but I like what the little one said about how we will all live as one and be loving towards each other.", he grinned and continued, "I sure am going to love fat Mike over there when he is digesting in my stomach and we become one."
The little fish says,"You misunderstand, our Father grants us all life equally, we still have to fend for ourselves."
"Ofcourse we have to fend for ourselfs, I sure don't think the ocean will save me!", cried a frightened Mike.
The little fish says, "But the Ocean is God do you not understand? He is everywhere. He is everything. By worshipping the Ocean we are loving our creator and when we die, He our Father will let us come to another even greater, cleaner Ocean! He commands it!"
"Your a looney!", one fish hollered. The others laughed.
"But... don't you get it? We are all alive because of The Ocean! It is wrong to not recognize the gift of life it has given us. If we love and respect It, It will love and respect us. We all can have..."
The barracuda interrupted with a stern voice, "But we DO respect the ocean and its life-giving properties. Don't you get it, we have always recognized the gift of life."
"Yeah", said Mike, "If you want to believe you will continue to live after your dead, go ahead. That's not respecting life though, that is more like dismissing it."
The little fish lost his composure, "But, he COMMANDS IT! I hear him, talking to me!"
"See, he is a looney...", the other fish started swimming away.
"I'm not insane! I just believe!"
As they swam of, one fish hollored back, "Yeah, yeah! But keep it to yourself! Stop pestering us, or go get some professional help."
