I have watched a some kind of documentary before about this topic.
It was said that ancient Gods are could be aliens due to the images found on stones such as on pyramid on Egypt. The head there have snake, some are big and some does not look like human heads. I actually do not know what to believe while watching it.
Well, it could be possible. There are planets out there that are older than ours. Earth is only 4 billion years old while other planets are already dying due to old age. Imagine how those older planet existed much longer before ours. It is possible that they had evolved until there were intellectual life on them. Then those intellectual beings reached higher degree of intelligence than of ours now and manage to reach our planet thousand years ago and saw ignorant human beings that were just starting to discover the basic things about their life and about their planet. With lesser knowledge, human beings considered the idea about gods/goddesses.
That's a very real concept, it's about as plausible as any other religious belief and at least there is a hint of history to back some of it up.
I was about to say pretty much the same thing.
Sure, it's possible. Perhaps a little more probably than some of the other possibilities we've entertained as a species.
So where are these alien beings and if have misunderstood, why haven't they come back and set us straight yet?

I'm pretty sure that if there were alien beings, they've since gone off to to bigger and better things, and really have no interest in checking to see how badly this trainwreck is going.
And hey, if we were created in their image, then they're probably dead by now.
I also ask such question when reading articles about aliens. Do they have the ability to be invisible so that they can go any where here anything they like? Or like in MIB movies that they look like human and just blend with us? :P
Or maybe the aliens did themselves in many thousands of years ago like our own political leaders soon will. They could have possibly destroyed their entire civilization by now and we just don't know.
That's a good way to look at it, that is the course we are on with our own planet.
I have read something about multidimensional aliens where they're not visible in the human eyes. They can communicate by telepathy and some clairvoyant people can see them.
I simply can't believe that aliens from another planet have ever visited planet earth. There is no reason to believe that ancient people did not develop their technology on their own. Look how much technology has changed since 1900. Humans made the changes, just as ancient man grew by leaps and bounds in technology once they settled into towns. There is no need to surmise that aliens must have gotten us on our way, any more than there is a need to surmise there is a god. For now, aliens visiting earth belong in fantasy land. That's not to say that other worlds are not inhabited by life forms. I just don't believe any other life forms have come to earth. It is possible that life did come to the planet on an asteroid or some other debris that fell from space. And that would be considered alien life.
